I am both thrilled and honored to announce that I have been awarded an Emerging Artist Award by the Durham Arts Council for 2008 in Film/Video Production. The award recognizes artists that are in the formative stages of their careers and provides them with much needed support at this critical point in their development. As part of the program, I will be producing a trailer for a new documentary project that I have just begun work on called, Liability U. A feature-length documentary, Liability U, will put a personal face on the growing problem of college loan debt in the United States as we walk in the shoes of graduates trying to make a living and trying to make a life with the reality of a lifetime of pay-back.
